Create this wall hanging or alternatively it can be used in a larger project or as a cushion front.
This wall hanging incorporates reverse appliqué, layering and embellishing, working with circles and free motion quilting. (The porthole is embellished with buttons). The finished piece will be approximately 20 inches square.

Join Helen to create this stunning beach bag or alternatively create a wall hanging using the foundation pieced ice creams and lollies. Raid your stash to find textured and patterned fabrics in differing shades to create depth and colour to each piece.
Helen will provide detailed instructions and patterns to create your individual works of art.

‘Christmas Patchwork’

Julia is a nationally recognized quilter who hosts her own Facebook page ‘Julia’s Mini Quilts’. She regularly enters miniature quilts in Quilt Shows around the country. Join Julia to create a series of Christmas themed projects from mini quilts, angels and garlands.
These projects are excellent for using up your scraps and Christmas themed prints. Over the course of the day you should be able to produce several small projects.

Angela is a world renowned expert on Kantha Stitching. She will be giving a talk on “Kantha 500 years in Stitch” at the A.G.M. on Saturday. This workshop follows on from the talk. This workshop is a hand stitched project with an Indian block printed border. Angela will teach you how to mask out an area of fabric & pick up techniques for successful block painting. She will support you to create a successful printed border, before learning how to transfer the cow parsley design. You will learn how to layer up your work and then how to start your stitching. Angela will show you how to use different types of running stitch to make your stitching come alive.
