36 members plus committee had a pleasant day at the new venue of North Tuddenham Village Hall.

Greeted by Linda Turner and with tea and coffee made by Janet Ireson, Lesley Griffin and Christine Harrow and the resplendent new NQ apron had its first public outing.  There was a full and enticing sales table manned by Brenda Crevald and Sue Ovenden. The raffle had excellent prizes donated by members and tickets sold by Mary Robinson.

Betty welcomed everyone and after some housekeeping notices practically everyone present showed and told. The projects from Betty’s recent workshop on foundation piecing showed that from the same pattern you could make so many different projects.

The variety of projects ranged from Margaret Currie’s fiddle quilt to Moira Bagnall’s infinity quilt and just about everything else in-between. We all came away with ideas on future projects.

After lunch, we had demonstrations on how to insert zips with Ros Peedle, Power cutting with Jennifer Huish which was a revelation.  There is a link on the website to a YouTube video, it is amazing and so simple once you know how!

At the next Get Together Day on the 1st July Christine Harrow will be demonstrating ideas of items to make for the sales table at the Exhibition. She would welcome any ideas you have of things to make.
